The Leo Full Moon

This Leo Full Moon opens February as a harbinger of fiery turbulence as well as the possibilities for significant and long lasting choices to be met.
The Aquarian Sun is flanked by Venus and Mercury on one side, and Vesta, Mars and Pluto on the other, together forming a so-called Stellium, which isn’t uncommon when we enter into a new sign.
What is very different here is that the weight of Pluto which entered Aquarius last November finally, (and will be there until 2044) offers a note from the depths, and anchors the other planets into the collective psyche as agents of transformation, confronting life on this planet with what needs to occur for us to be able to continue as a species that is viable and sustainable, along with all the other life forms of the millennia.
Some Astrologers are saying there are the classic hallmarks of war showing up in this chart. (the Mars Pluto conjunction and Neptune entering Aries this month)
The differences are that there are still choices, but they may not come from the classic hierarchical structures of previous constructs, because as Pluto traveled through Capricorn over the last twenty or so years, it transmuted a lot of those formations, and even though they appear to be ‘still standing’, they are looking more and more like a caricature of their previous selves and we find ourselves not knowing what is true and what isn’t.
It is imperative for us to do the work from within, and from a grass roots level.
On February 20th Neptune finally enters Aries where it will be for the next 14 years. There are several ways for this to manifest (and this is where choices need to be made..) One version is that Neptune in Aries idealizes war; the other is that we can take our spirituality and joining together into the field to assert boundaries using the warrior nature of Aries for boundaries and assertiveness, standing up for what is ‘wrong’.
Added to all of this Western Astrology, needless to say there is ofcourse Chinese Astrology. The eve of Chinese New Year, 17th February, is the beginning of the Fire Horse and the start of an eclipse cycle with the Aquarian New Moon.
Uranus, the ruler of Aquarius is finally stationary and now moving forward towards Gemini, where it will arrive on July 7th and stay until 2032.
This is a period where you need to be assessing where your true values are landing after the major shake-up they’ve been having in the last few years with Uranus going through Taurus.
Uranus in Gemini is a whole other thing. It is high energy innovative and kinetic thinking and the transmission of those concepts into the collective’s library of ideas.
It has been, and will doubtlessly continue informing Ai for all its various branches and services.
Sorely needed new ways of thinking about things will keep the ball rolling, and so it is more important than ever to stay connected to, and aware of your core values, so that you aren’t swept away from yourSelf, by the maelstrom, with its non-stop racket purveying all the air waves at present.
And yet it is important for you to stay open and curious, so that you can participate in the new world, and to keep the life force circulating in your system.
So do not buy into the fear and loathing! Find ways to quieten the incessant thoughts and worry, through meditation, breath work, Nature walks, or just sitting quietly with animals or trees. Take some pauses in your day to place your hand on your heart and just listen.
